Step 5:
Return chicken to the pot Continue to cook uncovered for 57 minutes stirring often until chicken is cooked through and pasta is tender
Step 6:
Stir in Parmesan cheese salt pepper nutmeg if using and parsley Cook 12 minutes more until the sauce thickens and coats the pasta
Step 7:
Taste and adjust seasoning as needed Serve immediately garnished with extra Parmesan and parsley
