# Step-by-Step Directions:
01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
02 - In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef or turkey until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
03 - Add finely chopped onion, minced garlic, and diced bell pepper to the skillet. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes until softened.
04 - Stir in drained diced tomatoes, rinsed black beans, corn kernels, taco seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes until heated through. Remove from heat.
05 - Spread a thin layer of the meat mixture on the bottom of the baking dish. Arrange 3 lasagna noodles over the meat, then top with one third of the remaining meat mixture, one third of the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, and several spoonfuls of sour cream.
06 - Repeat the layering process two more times, ending with a cheese layer on top.
07 - Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
08 - Remove foil and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
09 - Allow the dish to rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with sliced jalapeños, fresh cilantro, and green onions as desired.
